The purpose of this evaluation is to supplement the national subject evaluations with an international perspective on the development within the subject of Mathematics. The relevance of the development in the subject is assessed in terms of general education and the pupils’ preparedness or higher education by an independent panel of international experts. The evaluation deals with Mathematics at levels A and B in HTX and STX, thus narrowing the focus from other programmes and levels.
